Closure: Selway Falls Campground, on Forest Road 443 near the Race Creek take-out, is closed to camping through Dec 31, 2026, unless rescinded (Nez Perce-Clearwater NF order 01-17-06-26-003). After the Island Creek Fire the Forest Service expects debris flows and slope erosion above the campsites. The order bans camping; it does not close the river.
